Ted, I love this. Everyone seems to design from the Teacher's Mindset: "This is how it is done." But the experiences to which we bond emotionally are designed from the Guide's Mindset, where someone leads us somewhat-safely into a space where we can explore, discover, and improvise personally as seems intuitive to us. The "why" is obvious: we don't just want to be a drone or extra in your story; we want to experience something as our own story.
