Former Tableau CMO Elissa Fink tells how she and her team put the once-scrappy startup on the data industry's map

Datadoodle's first podcast

Instead of a blog post, this week you get a podcast, Datadoodle’s first. As a subscriber to Datadoodle, you get a first look. And look you must. It’s a video podcast.

The podcast will develop over the next couple of months. Eventually, it’ll be a paid feature, and existing free subscribers will get a free, months-long trial subscription. (Any existing free subscriptions to the weblog will continue as is.)

The podcast will keep the same point of view — unavoidably, since I’m the only one who produces Datadoodle — but the addition of direct contact with sources will inevitably provide a different experience. The podcast removes from my shoulders the duty of understanding the source well enough to compress the interesting bits reliably and instead lets me concentrate on questions. — But it also requires that I master new tools.

I hope you enjoy this first episode, and I look forward to your comments.
